The recipient of a bachelor's degree in economics from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, Christopher King worked for 10 years as a specialist in the United States Army. Since 1999, he has been engaged in auto sales. He began working at Carter's Aurora Chrysler and was salesman of the month for 10 consecutive months before being promoted to new car sales manager. In this role, Christopher King managed and motivated salespeople and helped increase sales by 25 percent for the Springfield dealership.

Mr. King later worked as general manager of Seven Valley's Chrysler, managing partner at C.R. Motor Company, and owner of The Auto Store. He took a seven-year sabbatical from 2007 to 2014, during which time he lived in the Democratic Republic of Congo and operated a big game hunting ranch, but returned to Springfield, Missouri in 2014 and launched Queen City Motors and Queen City Motors Service Center. It is the largest pre-owned auto dealership in the city.

Beyond his professional pursuits, he enjoys volunteering at The Kitchen, Inc., and is a member of Rotary International. His hobbies include hiking, cooking, and playing chess.
